First, to connect Firestick with WiFi part, you can either use HDMI-CEC( Consumer Electronics Control) or use any smartphone as a hotspot and use other device to control the Firestick.

Using Amazon Echo Or Echo Dot To Control Firestick

To link your Alexa and Fire TV, they must be registered to the same Amazon account.

You can link multiple Alexa devices to the same Firestick, but use only one at a time to control it.

If you have more than one Fire TV device, you’ll need to use the Alexa app to pair your devices:

  1. Go to the menu and select Settings.
  2.  Select TV & Video then Fire TV.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
  4. Select Link Devices to confirm your selection.

To manage your linked devices from the Alexa app open Settings from the menu, select TV & Video, select your linked Fire TV, and then select Manage devices.

Once you are done with the linking process, you can control the Firestick with a voice command.

Voice commands like “Watch[title]”, “Play, Pause, Stop”, “Open[app] or Launch[app]” are some common commands.
